Description

This course builds upon the Introduction to Mindfulness course. During this course we will:

  • Continue to practice in a group, exploring our shared yet individual experiences.
  • Learn how to use mindfulness tools to help manage unpleasant events.
  • Incorporate additional mindfulness practices and revisit old ones

To take this course, you must have completed the Introduction to Mindfulness course.

Who Should Not Take This Course
While this class is open to beginners and those interested in learning more about mindfulness meditation, this may not be the right time for everyone to start a practice. People who should wait to take this course or talk to their mental health provider first are: people experiencing suicidal thoughts, depression, PTSD, substance abuse, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other mental health disorders.

Please Consider
Please note, while this course is currently being run for free during COVID-19, a lot of the program depends on group participation. We have a limited amount of spaces available so please consider whether you'll be able to take all 5 sessions. If you are unable to, please wait for another course so someone else can join.
